A three family residential property clustered with other similar properties sustained significant fire damage, mostly to the second and third floors as a result of a horrific fire in an adjacent property. Working closely with the property owner and their public adjuster, Landmark realized the first need of the owner was to establish occupancy in the rental units on the first and second floors. In less than one month we restored the less damaged first floor unit and worked closely with the Building Inspector for the City of Cambridge to establish occupancy and return the displaced tenant to their home.
The second floor tenant was subsequently returned to their home shortly after that and the remainder of the property was restored, internally first so as to allow the owner to return to their home more quickly while the exterior renovations were completed.
